After being escorted from the nightclub, Mooney lunged at doorman Harry Dempsey and landed a headbutt. Sheriff Gordon Liddle told Mooney that custody is a “strong possibility here” due to the offences and his bad criminal history. Fiscal depute Bruce McCrossan said it was around midnight on March 19 when Hannah served Mooney a drink in CC Blooms in Greenside Place.“Then, without warning, the accused leaned over the bar and grabbed her by the neck and pulled her toward him. She managed to wriggle from his clutches.”
