Brendan Carroll, who was being held in an Edinburgh jail, made the sick threat after an online break-up
Brendan Carroll went ballistic after the woman ended their relationship, telling her: “I’ll slit your f***ing throat.”
Carroll was later released from his jail term, but immediately returned behind bars when Chloe reported the threat to cops. The court heard angry Carroll, of Camelon, near Falkirk, made the threat and Chloe ended the video call. Mr Stewart said Carroll hadn’t received his medication in prison when the incident occurred, and that was compounded by his history of PTSD.“He did not intend to carry out the threat, but he accepts he caused fear and alarm.”
