'Normally I’m disappointed with Liverpool representation on TikTok, but this was a perfect flavour choice'
A TikTok creator has shared a video showing their own version of a ‘Liverpool sandwich’ - but it's been questioned by many users of the app.
The new series shows him making ‘Official Uk sandwiches’ covering different locations around the country. Last week he created what he claimed was a typical Liverpool sandwich.The video has since racked up nearly 250k views. It shows him including staple items from a Chinese takeaway onto a sandwich.
He then chops up some potatoes and places them in an air fryer before adding peppers, onion, spring onions, red chilli, and spices. The finished result shows the salt and pepper chips and curry sauce on white bread. Scousers in the comments were left feeling unsure after watching the video as one said: “Am from Liverpool born and bred and what the bell is that.” A second added: “I’m from Liverpool and no one I know has ever had tha.”
