There’s a lot that can be said about the food in Manchester. As a vastly cultural city-region, we can lay claim to a rich variety of tastes and flavours - from the chip shop barm to the Manchester tart and the Lancashire Hotpot to the Curry Mile Korma.

“Chip muffin is the iconic Manchester butty, never had this ever,” one explained. “Bolton pasty barm,” another firmly stated. Another suggested: “Normally fish finger barm mate”, whilst one other insisted: “Nah our sandwich is the bacon barm from the van at trafford park b&q.”
