American rally driving legend Ken Block has died in a snowmobile accident at the age of 55
The 55-year-old American was riding in Woodland, Utah on a steep slope when the snowmobile upended and landed on top of him.The Sheriff’s Office in Wasatch County said in a statement he was pronounced dead at the scene.
He starred alongside James May for a rally stage around Inyokern Airport in California and later was challenged by Jeremy Clarkson to drive a three-wheeled Reliant Robin around the test track – but rolled it at the first corner.
