Football Insider has been told by Kieran Maguire that Daniel Levy and Tottenham are 'exploting' matchday fans with higher matchday tickets this season.

Maguire believes the price rise indicates that Tottenham remain focused on generating revenue as opposed to improving performances on the pitch.

Daniel Levy will have seen the prices charged by Beyonce and other performers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over the course of the summer and will want to copy thatMatchday tickets are a big opportunity given that Spurs have a large international fanbase, many of which only get to see one or two matches a season.It won’t make a huge difference over the course of the season, probably in the region of £2.5-£3million, which for a club of Spurs’ stature is not significant.
