The reason for the break-up remains murky, with the two parties offering differing versions of events.
Blame is also being laid at unnamed cast members who allegedly stirred up trouble between the former couple. An insider told us: "Although Dan is often painted as the guy who ‘can’t commit,’ or put a ring on it, this time it is Amber who is being whispered about.is responsible for the split - whereas Amber’s supporters say the couple had lots of issues behind the scenes for a long time and that they realised they weren’t going to make it to the next stage of marriage and children so decided – amicably – to call it a day.
"They also blame other Amber ‘haters’ in the cast for deliberately stirring up trouble. There are going to be some explosive bust-ups. Whether or not they’ll get to the truth of it all remains to be seen, but the cast are defending their own and will be fiercely loyal to the end. "It’s set to cause more fall outs than we've seen already so far and there have already been an awful lot.”
