A TOWN'S Christmas tree with balding branches has been branded an "utter disgrace" by raging locals.
The festive fir in Buckley, Wales, was dubbed "terrible" and "dreadful" when a picture shared to Facebook revealed it's sparse foliage and sagging lights.A town's Christmas tree with balding branches has been branded an "utter disgrace" by raging localsAfter the tree's lights were switched on, it fell victim to "certain youths" who snapped off leaves and snipped strings of lights.
"Unfortunately, in the following nights ,there has been certain youths causing anti-social behaviour in and around the Town Centre, and our tree has such events drawn to their attention, resulting in them snapping branches and even cutting the lights. "I just can’t see what they get from this. It not only makes the town untidy, there is the obvious risk of electrocution and spoils the festive season for our community."Most read in The Sun
