Their town was shrouded in clouds of black fumes after a train carrying toxic chemicals derailed – but when residents of East Palestine in Ohio tried to meet representatives of the train company last night demanding answers, the company didn’t show up.
Local people say since the accident happened two weeks ago, they’ve had to fight to get the air and water tested – and still aren’t sure what’s safe.
