Police were called to Kings Road in Old Trafford at around 7:45pm on Wednesday evening (May 31) to reports of a disturbance. They later confirmed a murder investigation had been launched after a young man was pronounced dead at the scene
Neighbours have woken up in shock and disbelief after a 21-year-old man was stabbed to death in a 'quiet' Trafford neighbourhood.
He said reports suggested the victim was followed before he was stabbed. The Manchester Evening News understands that the attack is believed to have been targeted. "It was a shock," one said. "I've lived here for 20 years and never seen anything like this. It's just incredibly sad."
