Tragic final Snapchat posts of Preston man, 23, who battled addiction
A man posted a series of worrying messages on Snapchat moments before ending his life by taking a cocktail of drugs he bought online.
When George was found in his room that morning he was still wearing his headphones and several empty medication packs were scattered around his body. He had left a letter on the side entitled 'My suicide note'. "I'm done with life lad, my body will be found tomorrow morning." Josh was a mutual friend who had died two years earlier from taking drugs.
"As the GP said, on occasions he wished to stop, yet on other occasions he found himself rejecting offers of support and was unable to help himself. Sadly he couldn't, like many others, stop himself from taking addictive substances and was plagued with anxiety which encouraged his drug use."
