Richard Miles was found after a four-day search operation
Electrical engineer Richard Miles visited the Lakes in July from his home in Gwent, South Wales but his family soon became concerned when he did not call as he would normally do. Tragically, he had fallen during a climb at Lord’s Rake on Scafell Pike.
Mr Park turned around and walked back in the opposite direction for around 20m when he spotted Richard’s body in a gully. The electrical engineer had sustained head and leg injuries and was already dead.
