A Skelmersdale beauty queen is set to become the second longest-serving Miss England after her reign was extended due to this year's Miss World competition being postponed.
Jessica, of Skelmersdale, said: "My reign being extended is fantastic news as it gives me even longer to promote my campaign to get more girls interested in engineering and more children interested in STEM as a whole. "The contest making an appearance in the north west is fantastic, as a lot of our past national finalists have hailed from the area.
