Scenes from inside London Euston showed passengers trying to sleep on top of suitcases, leaning against pillars and napping on the floor
Euston have resumed after a night of chaos which left passengers stranded.
Sunday’s large-scale disruption was blamed on a fallen tree which caused damage to overhead wires between Rugby and Milton Keynes. Avanti West Coast was forced to suspend all services in and out of London Euston and ‘strongly advised’ passengers not to travel until Monday morning.
