The group were said to have arrived yesterday
A group of travellers have pitched up at a park and ride site in Nottingham for the second time in as many months. The individuals are reported to have parked up on the overflow car park of the Queens Drive Park and Ride during the evening of Wednesday, April 26, according to witnesses.Around six caravans also pitched up there in February 2020 as well as another group earlier this year in March 2023.
The Queens Drive park and ride is situated just off the Dunkirk Island and A52 Clifton Bridge, connecting hundreds of commuters to the city centre and Queen's Medical Centre. The facility contains more than 900 spaces and Nottingham City Council has said the car park is for daily use and that nobody is permitted to park there overnight.
Nottinghamshire Live has contacted the city council for more information about the arrival of the group.
