Trial postponed for dance teacher accused of groping a teenage pupil.

A DANCE teacher accused of groping a teenage pupil and sending explicit messages to other students has had his trial postponed.

Gordon Brown, 51, allegedly committed the crimes at a school in Glasgow's northwest between August 2016 and 2018. Court papers state Brown, of Stirling, was in a position of trust of the girls in his capacity as a teacher.The first charge states that Brown repeatedly touched her on the leg and groped her breast.Brown's conduct is said to have continued with a second charge claiming that he made comments of a sexual nature and touched the leg of another girl.It is said he also repeatedly made comments and sent messages to her of a sexual nature.

A final charge claims that he repeatedly made comments to a fourth girl which were of a sexual nature.A new date had been fixed for early August and Brown remains on bail meantime.
