Police have launched a murder investigation following the fatal attack in Chapeltown
Tributes have flooded in to a teenager who was beaten to death in a Leeds street. The 19-year-old was attacked outside a house on Francis Street, Chapeltown, at around 2am in the early hours of Saturday morning . The young man was repeatedly beaten by three or four people wearing balaclavas.
Becky Jordan said: "Another mother and father waking this morning to their child's life [having] been taken. Thoughts are with the boy's family. Sending prayers." Kath Howe said: "As a mother I'm crying just reading the headline. If people know who did this, report them. They need to be off the street."
