Tributes have poured in for the iconic Irish singer, Sinéad O'Connor after she died, aged 56.
Naturally, as news of her death broke, many devastated fans and celebrities rushed to social media to pay tribute to the music legend, who was known to have had her share of mental struggles throughout her life. A third wrote: "A remarkable artist. A passionate mental health advocate. And a fierce woman who sacrificed her huge career to speak out against child sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. RIP, Sinéad O'Connor. Nothing compares 2 U," alongside a black and white image of Sinead in her younger days.
In a Twitter post, he wrote: “Respect to Sinead….. She stood for something… Unlike most people…. Rest Easy”, accompanied by a praying hands emoji.
