All Saints' Roman Catholic High School announced the death of colleague, Clare Atherton yesterday afternoon . Taking to social media, the secondary school, based on Haslingden Road in Rawtenstall, announced the "devastating news" of Clare's passing.
Another posted: "Such sad news to hear of the sudden passing of this wonderful lady, She was a fantastic teacher and made an impact on so many of her former pupils lives xx."
