Trump trying to stop January 6 committee from getting more than 700 files
Former President Donald Trump is trying to prevent the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 riots from getting more than 770 files. They include call logs, drafts of remarks for the Save America rally, handwritten notes, talking points for Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and his schedule. All of the documents, the National Archives says, are related to the January 6 insurrection or Trump's efforts to undermine the 2020 election.
