Popular airline TUI have issued a statement to holidaymakers heading to Corfu, as the wildfires in Rhodes, Greece, continue to impact surrounding areas. ITV News reported earlier this week that Corfu, an island just northwest of the mainland of Greece, had been partially evacuated due to the wildfires that are currently raging through Rhodes.
They have noted that customers will have the option to amend their bookings for free due to the current situation, if they are due to travel in the coming days. "Our teams will be on hand at your departure airport if you have any questions or concerns. Once you arrive in Corfu, you can contact us through the TUI App or by speaking to your local rep.
