Cadbury has revealed there would be a change to Twirl sizes in time for Christmas – with mini versions of the chocolates no longer an option 🍫
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a novelty box of chocolates.
But those who typically opt for Heroes – rather than Celebrations or Quality Street – may notice something a little different inside the tubs this year.Earlier this year, Cadbury revealed there would be a change to Twirl sizes in time for Christmas – with mini versions of the chocolates no longer an option. It seems this all comes down to supply chain issues and the availability of the bite-size Twirls.
A spokesman for Mondelez – the company that owns Cadbury – said: ‘To ensure we can continue to bring our loyal consumers the products they know and love, we have temporarily substituted bitesize Cadbury Twirl in Heroes Tubs, to the slightly larger Cadbury Twirl 21g. ‘Rest-assured consumers can enjoy the same amount of chocolate as before with the overall weight of the product remaining the same.’
