A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker
Two men have been arrested at Manchester's Caribbean Carnival after an emergency worker was assaulted and multiple weapons seized.
Police say they are 'committed' to making the annual celebration held in Moss Side a 'safe event for the community', and violence 'won't be tolerated'.Superintendent Arif Nawaz said: “Every arrest made and knife seized is a fantastic result as it means one more weapon is taken off the streets of Greater Manchester.
