Two men have been charged over the alleged assault of a man who heckled Prince Andrew as he walked behind the Queen's coffin in Edinburgh
All four of the Queen’s children including King Charles III and Princess Anne were walking behind their mother’s coffin when the incident took place.
Andrew, 62, stepped down from royal duties in 2019 over the controversy surrounding his friendship with the late US financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who killed himself that year while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men, both aged 34, have been arrested and charged in connection with assault, following an incident on the Royal Mile around 2.50pm on Monday, 12 September 2022.died at her Balmoral estate on Thursday 8 September.more than 250,000 members of the public paid their respectsBritain’s longest-serving monarch was laid to rest at the King George VI Memorial Chapel at Windsor Castle following a state funeral on 19 September.
