The anticipated dates of the closure are Monday, August 14 to Sunday, October 1.
Diversions will be in place when Mearns Road in Newton Mearns shuts at its junction with Waterfoot Road and Old Humbie Road from next month.It will allow Scottish Water pipe rehabilitation works to take place on or near the road.
All vehicles will be restricted except those associated with the works and emergency vehicles attending an incident. As an alternative route, motorists will be able to drive from Mearns Road to Broom Road East, Waterfoot Road and vice versa or from Mearns Road to Humbie Road, Humbie Lawns, Old Humbie Road and vice versa.
