Tyson Fury has now returned to Ring Magazine’s top ten heavyweight rankings, but is no longer top dog.
The historic publication and their panel of boxing writers have released the latest update to their list following Fury’s return at the start of this month.The Gypsy King retired back in April following his win over Dillian Whyte.Fury reason for doing so was that if he chose to return, he could attempt to win it again and become only the second ever man to be a three-time Ring heavyweight champion – matching a feat achieved by Muhammad Ali.
Ring Magazine approved the Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua rematch to be for the vacant crown in August. Usyk emerged victorious by split decision and so he is the man Fury must beat if he is to make history.Usyk is the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion. and also now holds the Ring belt
