Ubisoft Support spotted almost 19,000 accounts 'making use of a fraudulent exploit within our titles.'

Ubisoft Support has confirmed it's handing out"account level sanctions" to almost 19,000 accounts which were spotted"making use of a fraudulent exploit" in a number of Ubisoft titles.

In a brief statement, the Ubisoft Support team explained that almost 19,000 accounts will see account level sanctions applied as a result of Ubisoft's policy about"fraudulent practices.""Recently we have identified accounts making use of a fraudulent exploit within our titles,"Ubisoft Support."Ubisoft has a zero tolerance policy against fraudulent practices as per our Code of Conduct.

The Ubisoft Support team doesn't mention which titles specifically saw exploits used or what these"fraudulent practices" were, but just refers players to its, which states that"sanctions can include; but are not limited to: restricted access to certain services, suspensions and bans at game or at account level. Sanctions may vary depending on the severity, impact and/or frequency of breaches.
