England manager Gareth Southgate revealed his squad for the upcoming friendly against Australia and Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy, with Jarrod Bowen and Ollie Watkins reclaiming their spots in the side.
England join forces with Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic Of Ireland to host the competition which takes place in five years' time.The decision was made after the five-strong group of nations presented their proposal to the UEFA's executive committee on Tuesday morning.
This is after Turkey pulled out of the race in order to join forces with Italy to host the 2032 finals. Wembley, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Etihad Stadium, St James' Park, Villa Park and Everton's new home at Bramley-Moore Dock all feature on the bid.
