Fuel prices could once again see big rises in the coming months
UK drivers are being warned about changes coming to licence plates and fuel coming into force from March. Next month will see changes to new licence plates as well as a possible fuel duty rise.
Fuel prices in the UK have been steadily falling over the past few months but the RAC have now warned that these cuts may just be coming to an end. In January fuel prices were at their lowest level since Russia's invasion of Ukraine a year ago, reports Birmingham Live. On average, petrol prices in January were down by 3p per litre. By the end of the month this averaged at 148.89p per litre. Average diesel prices fell even more sharply, down 4p per litre. By the end of the month it was down to around 170.37p per litre.
On top of the fuel changes, licence plate changes are also being brought in from March. New licence plates will be rolled out for newly-registered cars this year.
