Wagner Group boss Yevgeny Prigozhin is thought to have been on a plane that crashed near Moscow, killing 10 people onboard. Former Russian prime minister Mikhail Kasyanov tells Sky News he has no doubt Vladimir Putin is behind the crash - he has not yet addressed the claims.
Today marks 18 months since Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 February, 2022.
Another villager, who gave his name as Anatoly, said:"In terms of what might have happened, I'll just say this: it wasn't thunder, it was a metallic bang - let's put it that way. I've heard things like that before." Mr Putin has been widely accused of having had some involvement in the crash, but neither he nor the Kremlin has made any comment thus far. And here's a recap of the most important developments from earlier in the day: The plane supposedly carrying Yevgeny Prigozhin and nine others came down near the village of Kuzhenkino, around 185 miles north of the capital Moscow.We've begun to receive pictures of some of the people the Russian aviation authority reported as being on the manifest of the crashed jet.
