Freight trucks registered in either Russia or Belarus will be banned entry into Poland, according to the Polish news agencyPolish interior minister Mariusz Kaminski signed an order yesterday to stop the trucks from crossing into Poland when entering through its border with Belarus.
This year, a Belarusian court upheld an earlier decision to sentence a journalist of Polish origin to eight years in prison, which also stoked tensions between the two countries.Images are emerging from Moscow after a drone attack allegedly orchestrated by Ukraine, according to Russia. Three people have died in the fire which happened in the early hours of this morning, Russia's RIA state news agency reports, citing the emergency services.
The ministry has said eight drones were involved in the strike and all of them were destroyed by air defence systems.Moscow's mayor has claimed that two people sought medical assistance after the attack.A statement from the ministry reads:"This morning, the Kyiv regime launched a terrorist attack with unmanned aerial vehicles on objects in the city of Moscow."Three of them were suppressed by electronic warfare, lost control and deviated from their intended targets.
The update goes on to say that Russia has only recently resumed publishing headline expenditure breakdowns after suspending this in May 2022. Andrei Vorobyov, governor of the Moscow region, said that several drones were shot down on their approach to Moscow.Several of Russia's Telegram messaging channels reported that four to 10 drones were shot on the outskirts of Moscow and in its immediate region.
