The Wakes will be performing at the Admiral Bar on Waterloo Street from 7pm to raise money for those in need.Banks and The People's Pantry which is a membership-based community food shop that provides good quality food at a subsidised rate.Unite Organiser Joe Rollin said: "If you’re in Glasgow this Friday come down to the gig for some great"‘Unite for a Workers’ Economy’ is about bringing change by building working-class power on the picket line and in our communities.
"Music is just one of the many ways we can bring people together to have some fun but to support our communities at the same time." Andy Harris, from Fans Supporting Foodbanks in Glasgow, said:"It's a scandal that food poverty still exists in this day and age., and we've got kids who are going to bed hungry and going to school in the morning without having breakfast."Communities coming together, rising up and driving change through solidarity, not charity."
