Urgent 999 police appeal over missing dad and daughter, 3, with links to Manchester
A dad with links to Greater Manchester has gone missing together with his three-year-old daughter, sparking an urgent police appeal today.
Ahmed, 36, who also goes by the name Karwan. He and Dunya - who has curly, shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes and is approximately 3ft tall - are missing from the Blackpool area of Lancashire.Police chiefs said it was 'out of character for them to disappear like this' and revealed Ahmed has links to the Manchester area as well as Kent. People making 'immediate' sightings of them should call 999.
They were last seen on April 10 around the Promenade area of Blackpool and were reported to police as missing eight days later on April 18. "They could well still be in Blackpool and Fylde or may have travelled out of the area. Perhaps you have seen them, or maybe you know Ahmed and have previously heard discussing plans to travel elsewhere.
