People with gluten allergies have been warned not to eat the products
A number of falafel products have been urgently recalled from the shelves over fears they may present a risk to people with coeliac disease and gluten intolerance.
The items being recalled are Gosh Sweet Potato Pakora with Red Pepper, Cumin & Chilli 171g in 200g, 256g, 300g, and all dates up to and including 9 June 2023.They have also recalled Gosh Sweet Potato Pakora with Red Pepper, 200g, 700g, for all all dates up to and including 9 June, The Deli Sweet Potato Pakora, 200g, with all date codes, The Deli Butternut squash, Tomato and Basil Falafel, 200g, all date codes and The Deli Moroccan Style Falafel, 200g, all date codes.
In a statement, the FSA said: "Gosh! is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
