4 products are affected
An urgent recall has been issued by a dairy company for a variety of its goat cheeses. Lactalis UK & Ireland have warned customers not to eat its Cricket St Thomas Capricorn Goat Cheese, Somerset Capricorn Goat Cheese, and Co-op Goats Cheese after a potential listeria contamination.
"If you have purchased the above products with a Use by Date of 26 May 2023, do not eat them, instead return them to the store where you bought them for a full refund. We apologise that it has been necessary to recall this product, and for the inconvenience caused." The company is recalling four varieties of the product, which the Food Standards Agency has confirmed. The foods watchdog urged customers to avoid eating any of the goats cheeses, and to return them to where they were bought.
