Simone Biles praises her 'brave' Olympic teammates for 'stepping up when I couldn't'
Simone, who was expected to lead the US to gold in the team final, pulled out of the competition after the first event, following a shock error on vault. Her exit from the team final all but cleared the way for the athletes from the Russian Olympic Committee to claim gold - leaving Team USA with just three first-time Olympians to compete in the remaining three events.
