Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur has given a brutal verdict on the Scuderia’s performance at the British Grand Prix.
When asked if he was happy with the Scuderia’s performance at Silverstone, Vasseur immediately replied: “I’m not. Starting from P4, P5 five and we had the feeling after quali that we could have done a much better job than this.” He also admitted that tyre degradation seen in practice caused concern for the rest of the weekend. Calling the team’s performance ‘”far too conservative”, he said the team was unlucky with the Safety Car:Probably somewhere in our mind that we are the first races of the season where today we are far too conservative on the management and we didn’t push enough that we are a bit unlucky with the safety car.
