An elderly in Accrington man has lived without heating or hot water for over two years, according to community champion Depher.
A plumber by trade, he provides repairs to those most in need, and has grown his social enterprise into a huge national service. He benefits from swathes of volunteers helping him out, along with famous faces such as Hugh Grant, a financial supporter.Taking to his Twitter page, James shared the story of an pensioner from Accrington who has gone without heating or hot water for 29 months.
One user wrote: "God bless him and yourself mate. What you do to help people is fantastic and deserves far more recognition." Whilst another posted: "That is horrendous. I'm so glad you could help him. You are doing more for communities than the government are!"
