Former striker Helen Ward is the new General Manager of watfordfc Women
Beginning her career at Watford having supported the club in her youth, former striker Ward made her senior debut in 2001 and enjoyed an eight-year spell before making the switch to Arsenal.
Ward achieved promotion to the Championship twice also, winning the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division in her final game against Billericay Town. “As soon as the opportunity presented itself I thought, ‘what better way than the General Manager job to stay involved?’,” said Ward.
