A leading analyst has warned that fruit and vegetable prices could be"sky high" as major supermarket chains like Asda, Aldi and Tesco report shortages.
Recently, Asda announced the news that it would be limiting the sale of certain fresh food items after empty aisles prompted concern from members of the public. A top analyst warns over 'skyrocketing' prices amid fruit and veg shortagesthat bad weather in Spain had impacted produce that usually comes to the UK at this time of year.
