First trailer for Bridgerton star's erotic Netflix thriller
We see the couple next in a bar after work, with Emily offering to buy Luke a drink. "Can I buy you another," she says, with Luke quipping back: "Now you make more money than me"."What are you doing?" he asks his wife-to-be in the next confronting scene. "You know it's just a game," she responds. "Well, you play it very well," says Luke.
As tensions rise between the two in the workplace, Emily admits they can't keep working together, only for Luke to assert that "he's not quitting". Luke goes on to make his ambition clear to Marsan's character in a public display in front of colleagues. "This firm has become my religion, you have become my god," he declares. "You give me this opportunity, I will give you everything I got."It's clear that Emily is struggling with her fiancé's ruthless and erratic behaviour. "You're going to end our relationship by setting off a bomb," she tells him."Why is it so hard to accept that I deserve that job," Emily asks Luke, who barks back: "I never got the shot.
