The John Lewis 2022 advert is out and they've ditched the special effects
John Lewis has released its much anticipated Christmas advert for this year, and it's much more subtle than previous adverts.

She's there with her social worker. It was shot around London and John Lewis had help from charities Who cares? Scotland and Action for Children to make they sure they were getting the message across effectively. In the UK, we have 108,000 children growing up in care.Rosie Hanley, John Lewis’ Head of Brand and Marketing, said: "No big special effects, no snow machines. We were very thoughtful about making sure that the cost of this production was very suitable to the environment that we’re in.
