These lovely animals still need your support
NAWT’s fundraising officer Josie Hartonne said: “The real problem was that all our plumbing is above ground and all pipes have frozen which means we cannot wash any laundry.“We’re using extra bedding to make the animals nice and snuggly but as soon as this gets soiled or wet, we are unable to wash it and therefore kept running out.“But the local community responded so generously to our Facebook appeal that we now have plenty and are running out of space to store more.
They are also in need of thermal bottle covers for guinea pigs and rabbits, to prevent their bottles freezing solid.
