Bilic pulls no punches as describes watfordfc performance at Swansea as “embarrassing”

The Watford head coach didn’t pull any punches when describing what he had just witnessed as his side were soundly beaten 4-0 by Swansea.

“We started by giving the ball away, then our confidence went down, then we looked scared, we started to shrink and then you look like you aren’t even trying.“I’m not going to name names, it will be done internally. But while the majority gave their best, when you put all performances together it’s not enough.

Bilic admitted he was embarrassed, and he also apologised to the travelling fans who – not for the first time this season – made a long and expensive trip to be served up with the football equivalent of gruel.“We are in a bad moment with the squad missing so many players, but we knew that before the game. It’s been the case for a couple of weeks.
