Let's take a look.To set up this simulation, we used the Football Manager 2023 editor to arrange for the Moroccan to join United before their clash with Tottenham this weekend, using FM23 to run the simulation. We then simulated the entire 2023/24 season to see how the midfielder could perform.
Bruno Fernandes , Casemiro , Mason Mount and Donny van de Beek all averaged a higher rating, with Christian Eriksen the only midfielder to register lower. Fernandes was United's best player in the simulation, grabbing 10 goals and 19 assists in all competitions. Due to his low average rating, Amrabat did not make the United best XI, with Casemiro, Mount and Fernandes all starting in the midfield three. Rasmus Hojlund hit the ground running with 19 goals in his first season to make the best XI, joining Marcus Rashford and Antony in the front three.
