We tried the 'absolute little gem of a coffee shop' loved by dogs as much as kids
When you're out and about as a family, with a dog in tow, it's not always easy to find somewhere to grab a drink and a bite to eat.
The counter is full to the brim with cakes of every kind and there's an ice cream counter for cones and deluxe milkshakes. The milkshakes - one bubble gum, one vanilla and clotted cream - went down a treat and, at £3.95 each, were more reasonably priced than you'd typically pay for that sort of thing. As were the large lattes at £3.10.
And the tables are so spaced out, so, as well as not feeling like you're all on top of each other, as is the case in many cafes, it means any dogs aren't too close to bother each other either.
