Even the King hasn't tried one of these - but we have
For more than 170 years Holland's Pies have been filling hungry tummies and now churns out millions of its creations every week from a former textile mill in Baxenden.
As a long-time fan of Holland's Pies , I was desperate to try the Coronation pie, and despite entering the competition I knew it was unlikely I would win, given the popularity of Holland's Pies, so I cheekily asked if I could try one.Holland's very kindly agreed to extend the baking order to create an extra pie and it was delivered to my door.
You can't serve pie without chips and so, with my new Ninja Foodie air fryer, I cooked up a batch of homemade chips to accompany my Coronation pie. Add a couple of buttered slices of orange Warburton's bread and this truly was a meal fit for a king.
