There was so much to enjoy
Myself and my girlfriend recently had the chance to try out an increasingly popular phenomenon - the glamping holiday. And we didn't have to go far either - trying out the highly-rated Dukeries Retreat.
Especially when you're in a tent you haven't had to set up yourself, which is certainly not in any danger of blowing away and leaving you unprotected from the downpour outside. It's a family-run site and that's clear from when you arrive - one of the owners or operators such as Mick will be there to say hello and run you through what you need to know as soon as you get there. There's a wood-fired pizza oven, playground for the kids and a games room, to name but a few of the extras on-site.
