The event at Weston-super-Mare's Grand Pier has been postponed because of Storm Ciarán.
By Alexandra BassinghamThe Fireworks at Sea event was scheduled to be held at the Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare.
The move was made "with a heavy heart" by the third party company responsible for the display, a spokesperson said. They cited the unpredictable direction and speed of the wind for the decision. Standard and gold tickets will be transferred to the next date with other ticket holders to be contacted by the company.
Damaging winds and travel disruption are forecast in southern England over the next few days due to Storm Ciarán.
