What are the plans to use the NHS app for travel?
From 17 May, people travelling abroad from England will be able to use the NHS app to prove they've had the Covid vaccine.It's thought this could pave the way for the app to be used as a more general "Covid passport" in other areas.From 17 May, people in England will be allowed to travel to some countries without having to quarantine when they return.
At the moment, if you want to see the full version of your medical records - including vaccinations - you have to ask your GP to release the information.In the future, the government says the app will also show Covid test results.To use the app you need to be registered with a GP in England and aged 13 or over.
